SONORAN KLEZMORIM

Sonoran Klezmorim is a ten-track contemporary interpretation of the klezmer tradition and our regional Sonoran sound. It was recorded at our favorite studio, Oracle Recording Studio located at the historic Rancho Linda Vista artist community. We recorded and mixed with Austin Owen and Francis Kelly the weekend June 6th 2025 and is scheduled to be released this summer 2026 on vinyl. Thanks to Tim and Stereophonic Mastering for mastering this album.

Recording JFUNK at Oracle Recording Studio

Nestled in the tranquil landscape of Rancho Linda Vista, the Oracle Recording Studio provided the perfect setting for the JFUNK recording sessions. Led by house engineer and producer Austin Owen, the band spent two weekends laying down the nine-track EP. Amidst the rustic charm of the studio, JFUNK embarked on a creative journey, exploring the depths of their sound with a blend of precision and spontaneity. At the time, Oracle Recording Studio recorded on an eight-track console, so meeting the demand and level of organization was tedious, but well worth the effort for the ultimate sound quality.
